In the 2006 NFL Draft, there is no clear favorite at the defensive tackle position, but Master Coach Dick MacPherson thinks Haloti Ngata of Oregon is "something special."

"I'm anxious to see who goes first," MacPherson said, "because there has been nobody like Bunkley at Florida State in quite a while."

Coach Mac went on to describe the role of the defensive tackles in the NFL. "The defensive tackles are the big men, the strong men, the moving men," he said.

Coach MacPherson believes, like Don James, that the top defensive tackle prospects in this year's draft will make an impact next year.

"They will all be playing on run downs. I'm anxious to see just how they go," he concluded.
