New Orleans Saints
The biggest winner in the draft is the city of New Orleans. Reggie Bush was the best player in the draft and he fell into the Saints' lap at No. 2. Bush will energize the city of New Orleans with his electrifying skills and will help with the rebuilding of a great city.
The Saints did not have a great draft as far as addressing needs, but picking Bush gave them the nod as the biggest winner.

Arizona Cardinals
Matt Leinart fell into their lap at the No. 10 overall pick. Phoenix is Pac-10 country and a warm-weather city and will be a great fit for Leinart. He is surrounded by offensive weapons in Boldin and Fitzgerald at receiver and newly acquired Edgerrin James at RB.
The Cards also picked up USC guard, Taitsui Latui and Georgia TE, Leonard Pope. They should have addressed more offensive line issues on Day 2, but overall, they are a big winner in the draft. |

|
Tennessee Titans
The Titans picked Vince Young with the No. 3 overall pick. The MCS think Matt Leinart is more NFL-ready but knows that Young is a spectacular football player. The Titans also picked fallling RB LenDale White with the 45th pick. White played under now Titans Offensive Coordinator, Norm Chow, at USC. White was the steal of the draft.
Tennessee also picked up Calvin Lowry, a defensive back from Penn State. |

|
San Francisco 49ers
TE Vernon Davis was a great pick at #6. He is a phenomenal athlete with a great body. He will give 2nd year QB Alex Smith a lot of help. The 49ers also picked up DE Manny Lawson of NC State to replace their defensive lineman, Julian Peterson.
They had a good second day, picking up the very versatile QB from Penn State, Michael Robinson and NC State safety, Marcus Hudson. |

|
Denver Broncos
The Broncos moved up to No. 11 to take QB Jay Cutler and got him some help with the Draft day trade for WR Javon Walker.
Denver also picked up two lineman perfectly suited for their system in Chris Kuper and Greg Eslinger. |

| NFL Draft - Question Marks |

|
Houston Texans
The biggest question mark in the NFL Draft was the Houston Texans. Mario Williams is a great talent without a doubt, but there is no explanation for passing on Reggie Bush. Williams is a freakish athlete, but there could be another player like him coming out next year. Reggie Bush is a one of a kind athlete, the likes of which we may not see for a while.
Houston addressed a lot of needs and drafted well otherwise, but they will regret not taking Bush. |

|
New York Giants
The Giants surprisingl picked DE Mathias Kiwanuka when they already have Osi Umenyiora and Michael Strahan. Kiwanuka was the 5th rated DE by the MCS, making him an odd choice by New York.
They did pick up Sinorice Moss, which was a fabulous pick in the 2nd round. He is lightning in a bottle and will complement Plaxico Burress at wide receiver.
|

|
St. Louis Rams
The Rams picked CB Tye Hill with their first pick. The MCS rated Antonio Cromartie as the best defensive back in the draft, and St. Louis would have been wise to take him, despite the risk. They also gambled by taking Claude Wroten, who has character issues.
They picked two tight ends, who both had question marks in Klopfenstein and Dominique Byrd of USC. They had one of the most questionable drafts. |

|
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings took QB Tarvaris Jackson from Alabama State in the 2nd round. They passed on Kellen Clemens, Charlie Whitehurst and Brodie Croyle. This move ranks with the Texans decision to pass on Bush.
They made a few good moves, including drafting
LB Chad Greenway out of Iowa with their first pick.
